Item is a photograph of the aftermath of the fire on the second floor of the fieldhouse, building "D" in May 1973 that burned through the corridor and roof but left the classrooms virtually untouched was attributed to arson. This photo shows the intensity of the heat that bent steel light fixtures and twisted locker doors.

In this photo, black soot covers all surfaces and fire debris from collapsing ceilings and water damage can be seen.
