In the summer of 1970, students set up a tent city named Liberation College in the Humber valley next to the campus. A rock concert featuring Lighthouse was also held on the site during this time and this photo captures the events and some of the cleanup effort.

Item is a photograph of the aftermath of the fire on the second floor of the fieldhouse, building "D" in May 1973 that burned through the corridor and roof but left the classrooms virtually untouched was attributed to arson. In this photo, the intense heat and smoke damaged walls and ceilings, peeling paint and covering everything in black soot.
