"Lakeshore Planning Study" : [final report]

File consists of the final report prepared by Peter Barnard Associates in association with A.J. Diamond Planners Ltd. on the future of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital. Contains a summary of various options, including converting the Cottages to residential uses, as well as the proposed transfer to Humber College. The report was submitted to the Ontario Government. The report includes a detailed history of the "Mimico Asylum" and an analysis of each individual building.

File consists of a report prepared by Laurie McPherson, Planner for the Borough of Etobicoke, outlining potential uses for the Psychiatric Hospital (including potential use of some buildings by Humber College). The report also includes photographs of the Hospital site.

Collection consists of material which was gathered by the Humber Libraries before the formal establishment of the Archives. Much of the material is from the early years of Humber and includes reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, and other materials.

File consists of a reel-to-reel audio tape and an audio cassette tape from the 10th anniversary of Humber. The recording was produced for Humber Radio by the third year Radio Broadcasting Students, and features interviews with Jack Ross (Dean of Creative and Communication Arts), Bob Higgins (Dean of the Technology Division), Richard Hook (Dean of Applied Arts), Lucille Peszat (Dean of Health Sciences), Eric Mundinger (Dean of Business), Robert ('Tex') Noble (Dean of Continuous Learning), and Humber President Gordon Wragg.
