Item is a photograph of the aftermath of the fire on the second floor of the fieldhouse, building "D" in May 1973 that burned through the corridor and roof but left the classrooms virtually untouched was attributed to arson. This photo shows the magnitude of the destruction and mess in the corridor caused by the fire and subsequent water damage. Firefighters at the end of the hall inspect the site looking for the cause of the fire.

The Humber Community Pool was a cooperative venture between the City of Etobicoke, Etobicoke Parks and Recreation and Humber College. Humber provided the location, the City provided the funding and the pool was operated by Parks and Recreation. As a result, Humber gained access to the pool for staff and students.
