Humber, Lake Shore Road

In front of the building is a sign facing the opposite way that reads, ‘Garden Party’ strung up on a lamp post and on the buildings balcony. Behind the sign are three vehicles, a black car and the two at the front are buggy’s or wagons. There is another lamp pole directly beside a streetcar rail. There is a brown empty streetcar on the rail. Behind the streetcar is the back of terminal for streetcars. The terminal building is white with a red-brown roof. To the centre-right of the image is a bridge over Mimico Creek. The bridge runs over a dirt road and to the farthest right are two individuals walking along the dirt road with trees to their right. The title “Humber, Lake Shore Road, Toronto, Canada” appears in red in the upper left corner, and an identification code of 104.070 (JV) appears in the lower left corner in black.

Back: Divided back. Some printed text identifies the maker as Valentine & Sons Publishing. Handwritten text in pencil addresses the card to Mrs C. (Mary) Bones with a note from Y & aK (unsure on aK).

Humber Video Recording Collection

Collection consists of video-recordings donated to the Humber College Archives over the years. The collection includes orientation videos, promotional videos, and videos of key historic events in Humber's history.

Humber Varsity ski team photographs

File consists of photographs of the Humber Varsity ski team taken by Gary Gellert. Some photographs feature professor Tom Browne. The photographs include individual headshots of team members, team photos, and a photograph of a display honouring their 1993 OCAA championship win.

"Humber Up Front" : [newsletter]

Sub-series consists of issues of "Humber Up Front", a newsletter aimed at staff and faculty of Humber. The newsletter covered news at Humber (including the launch of the Digital Imagining Training Center, the history of the School of Anatomy, and other topics). The newsletter features interviews with Humber staff including Nancy Abell, Peter Muller, Jim Bialek, Carolyn Beatty, and Peter Dietsche). The sub-series consists of the following issues: 3 October 1994; 7 November 1994; January 1995; February 1995; and March 1995.

File consists of an issue of "Humber Today" titled "Humber Tomorrow", which outlines the Campus Development Plan, and building updates on: renovations at the Lakeshore Campus, the proposed Orangeville Campus, the new North Campus Student Centre, the Centres of Excellence being developed, the Applied Skills Training Centre at 110 Carrier Drive, and a new Health and Wellness Centre.
