Item is a photograph of Charlotte Empey, a graduate from the journalism program who received the President's pin in 1974. She became an Alumnus of Distinction in 1999. Humber Education launched her career as a top editor for Canadian magazines before her return to Humber 30 years later as an associate dean serving from 2004 to 2010.
