Lakeshore Campus publications and promotional materials

File consists of material organized together in a binder, which covers publications and promotional material relating to the Lakeshore Campus. The file includes issues of "Lakeshore News and Views" (Fall 1987, Winter 1988, Spring 1988, Fall 1988, Spring-Summer 1989, Spring 1990, Fall 1990, Spring 1991, Fall 1991, Spring 1992, Winter 1992, Spring 1993 (2 copies), Fall 1993, Spring 1994, Fall 1994, and Spring 1995 (2 copies)); a programme for 1987-1988's "Innovators of the Year Awards"; 2 issues of "Lakeshore Neighbourhood" (May 1993 and March 1992); posters for author talks (Peter Robinson, Antanas Sileika, Nancy Baker, Michael Helm, Joe Kertes, Robert J. Sawyer, Elyse Friedman, Eric Wright, Peter Robinson, and Barbara Gowdy); a general information pamphlet about the campus; two blank greeting cards from the campus; "Library Highlights" (September 1994); invitation to the Lakeshore Community Festival (1989); an issue of "The Informant" (a newsletter from the Center for Justice Studies, 1992); a poster for "Becky Belongs : Voices Raised in Support of Integration"; an issue of "Split Screen" (a newsletter from the Business Division, Spring 1988); and pamphlets for Orientation 1988 and 1989.

"Lakeshore Planning Study" : [final report]

File consists of the final report prepared by Peter Barnard Associates in association with A.J. Diamond Planners Ltd. on the future of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital. Contains a summary of various options, including converting the Cottages to residential uses, as well as the proposed transfer to Humber College. The report was submitted to the Ontario Government. The report includes a detailed history of the "Mimico Asylum" and an analysis of each individual building.

"Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital Land Use Study"

File consists of a report prepared by Laurie McPherson, Planner for the Borough of Etobicoke, outlining potential uses for the Psychiatric Hospital (including potential use of some buildings by Humber College). The report also includes photographs of the Hospital site.

Official opening of the College materials

File consists of material relating to the official opening and installation of the President, which took place on 18 January 1968 at the Lakeshore Teacher's College. The file includes: an invitation, an invitation to the ribbon cutting (sealed with ribbon), a memo to all staff, press coverage, and a seating plan for the platform guests.
