"Humber Up Front" : [newsletter]

Sub-series consists of issues of "Humber Up Front", a newsletter aimed at staff and faculty of Humber. The newsletter covered news at Humber (including the launch of the Digital Imagining Training Center, the history of the School of Anatomy, and other topics). The newsletter features interviews with Humber staff including Nancy Abell, Peter Muller, Jim Bialek, Carolyn Beatty, and Peter Dietsche). The sub-series consists of the following issues: 3 October 1994; 7 November 1994; January 1995; February 1995; and March 1995.

File consists of issues of "College Communique" from 1990. Topics of discussion include budget concerns (including an open letter from the President), Academic Council and Board of Governors updates, the Capital Expansion program, the President's speech from the President's Annual Breakfast, the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), among other topics.

Wilderness Survival Course : [news clippings]

File consists of news clippings about a Wilderness Survival Course taught by Humber in the late 1970s/early 1980s. The course generated controversy over the killing of rabbits as part of the program (which is reflected in most of the articles). The file also includes a letter from Humber's Continuing Education Chair to the Editor of the "Globe and Mail."
