"Sweat" : [Fall 2012 issue]

File consists of an issue of Sweat. This issue explores strength, struggle and success in sports. It highlights college athletes hoping to represent Canada on the world stage and features articles on Indigenous athletes and transgender athletes. This issue also discusses the challenges of balancing parenting and athletics, cheerleading, live-action role-playing, and how good habits affect athletic performance.

File consists of an historical report on the early years of Humber's Nursing program (1971-1975). The report was written by the first Director of our Nursing program (Marilyn Barras), and covers the curriculum, admission, placement, and other topics. The report also includes several appendices relating to the creation of the Nursing program, including correspondence, agreements, and other material.

File consists of the first issue of "Humber Dialogue". The issue includes a quiz on Canada by Human Studies faculty Adrian Adamson, a welcome letter by Robert "Squee" Gordon, articles on Accountability, Humber and the Committee on Sexual Harassment, the York Campus, and the new Motorcycle Safety course. The issue also includes three profiles of new appointees to the Board of Governors: Daniel Benedict, Nancy Lawrie, and G. Ross Robertson. This particular copy is a "file issue", and contains some minor handwritten edits and corrections.
