Scope and content
A horizontal black and white film still. In the centre of the image, a person wearing a suit, white gloves, and a hat has his leg kicked up and one arm on the same side raised. Behind him, there are three people sitting: on the left a woman wearing a white dress and heels, and the person in the middle and right wearing the same outfit as the man in the middle. Around the image, there are seven people standing wearing the same outfit as the man in the middle clapping their hands. On the right edge, there is a podium and a chair. Behind all of the people, there is a brick building with a few stairs behind those sitting and an arch above. Below the image is a long white rectangle with black text. The image is held within a black frame.

Police Academy 3 is a Police Academy Productions and Warner Bros. film. After a hiatus in Los Angeles for the second film, Police Academy III returned to film on the Lakeshore Grounds. With the future of the Police Academy threatened, the graduates from the first film return to as instructors to help save the institution. While there is no acknowledgement within the movies that they were filmed in Toronto, there is no effort made to hide street names or easily identifiable landmarks. However, as the intention was to portray “Any City, USA,” the American flag was displayed on the flagpole outside of G Building.
A Press Kit is a form of advertising/marketing for a film. Press kits are used to draw attention to a film and to reach as many professionals and viewers as possible. It is an image booklet of the film which also contains detailed information about the project.
