File consists of two copies of a publication celebrating the anniversary of the Church, including biographies of Chinese members of the congregation and staff. It includes photos of notable members, including Dr. Phillip Yuey Yit Chu, the first Chinese medical doctor in Vancouver and Mrs. Agnes Chan, the first Chinese graduate nurse in Canada, along with photos of church activities, fundraising events and family photos of parishioners. On the front of one copy is written in handwriting, "18 June 2000 from Mary Ko Bong".
File consists of various drafts of "A Christmas Story", published in the 21 December 1996 issue of the Globe and Mail. Third draft includes a note from Wayson to the Arts Editor of the Globe and Mail. Story is dedicated, "In memory of Nancy Cole, Thomas Cottwell".
File consists of a history of Japanese Canadians from 1877-1977. The book contains an inscription to Wayson from Randy: "To my dear friend Sonny - Do you realize it's almost 2 decades since our first meeting? Over these years, it's been good to keep in touch and catch up on one another's lives. Can you imagine how geriatric we'll be in another 20 years? To our continuing friendship. Much love, Randy"
File consists of a Bachelor's thesis submitted to the UBC School of Architecture on Vancouver's Chinatown and the Yip family. Includes handwritten notes by Wayson at a later date and post-it notes throughout.

File consists of a printout of an article originally published in 1966 in Pacific Northwest Quarterly, discussing a riot which occurred in Vancouver in September 1907.
File consists two copies of a faxed biography of Leung Sum. She was born on October 1, 1903 in Hong Kong, and arrived in Vancouver in 1922. She was married to Lay Gee Leung (David Lee). She lived in Chinatown in the back of the WK Oriental Gardens Restaurant, owned by her family. The biography discusses her connection to The Jade Peony, "Mom was never an early riser but she was an early arriver-- especially when it came to coming home just a few hours before dawn. Some of those wonderful memories are captured in the words written by Wayson or Sonny Choy in his reminiscences in the Jade Peony as well as in his upcoming work."
File consists of a paper by Mitchell delivered to the Canadian Historical Association, discussing Canada's involvement with contracted labourers from China. "From Larry Wong/Jim Wong Chu" is written on the title page.
