Item is a photograph of John McCarthy and other student protesters interrupting a speech by Minister of Education William G. (Bill) Davis during the opening ceremonies. The protesters carried a sign reading "Big Business is Killing Us" and were protesting Humber's growing relationship to the Business community. These events became an integral part of the Liberation College later that year.
