Hospital Tunnel No. 2

Vertical colour drawing made of pastel. The drawing is of a tunnel positioned as if the viewer was looking down the tunnel. The image can be divided into four triangle-like sections. The top triangle is the roof of the tunnel. The roof has lines of reddish-brown at the top with some grey sections. Over the brown in some spots are pipe-like lines running all the way down the tunnel (two black ones in the centre, one black one on the right, and a yellow one on the left surrounded by two copper ones on the left). The right triangle is the right wall of the tunnel. The right wall is light grey all the way down. Near the end of the wall, there is a red circle and near the forefront, there are four black vertical lines. The left triangle is the left wall of the tunnel. The left wall is greyish-brown with four white vertical stipes around the centre of the wall. The bottom triangle is the floor of the tunnel. The floor is a yellowish-grey with some black mixed in. There are seven white horizontal lines across the floor. Where the triangles meet, there is a blue square. The whole image is surrounded by a white border and it has a line of text at the bottom right. The image is within a copper coloured frame.

Horizontal colour landscape painting. The upper section of the painting is green fading into yellow. On the left side of the page, there is a city skyline of tall rectangular buildings and a taller skinny building with a circular piece about one-third from the top. In front of the city skyline is a cluster of dark coloured trees to the left edge. In front of the skyline and trees is an oval-like shape pond reflecting the colour of the sky (orange, yellow, and white details) and the trees. Over the water towards the right side, there is a dark coloured bird. On the right side of the painting is a grey vertical path leading from the bottom right corner to about one-third from the top. Around the path and water, there are green trees and some orange leafed trees. In the sky beside the orange tree, there are two dark coloured bird flying. Between the trees and water on the water’s right edge, there is a brown edge with darker crack-like details. Slightly above there is a white bird flying horizontally to the right side. In front of the water at the bottom right and centre side, there is long dark lines of grass with some yellow and pink details. At the bottom right, there is a hand-written name.

Creek Above Lakeshore

Painted image on canvas. The painting is a nature scene depicting trees and a creek. On the left and right side of the image, there are tall trees. The trees on the left have leaves starting around their mid point. The tree on the right, does not have any leaves but has multiple branches sprouting out. The creek is the centre point of the painting. The creek reflects the colours around it (green, blue, white) and has more visible brush strokes. Along the top, a blue sky with a few white clouds can be seen. Below the blue sky and behind the creek, there are multiple trees with green leaves and some green grass. In the forefront of the picture, there is a diagonal tree with bright green leaves reaching from the lower left side towards the upper right. Around the diagonal tree and the trees on the side is green grass. Painting is held in a black frame.

CN Train Bridge

Painted image on canvas. The background of this image is a greyish-white sky. The foreground is mainly made of green and yellow leaves. The lower half of the painting is made up of multiple leaves/trees, the leaves go a little higher on the left, dips down in the middle where there is a taller tree trunk with green leaves reaching to the top of the image, and the leaves continue up higher after the tree, reaching to the top of the right side. Below the sky and above the leaves, a train bridge made of grey beams making triangular shapes and a brick like support columns. Painting is held in a black frame.

Vertical colour painting. The top of the painting is a black background. On the right side about one-third down, there is a white bird’s head and neck. The next is extending diagonally from the right edge and curves towards the centre. At the end of the next, there is a orange beak with black by the eye and mouth. The eye is black. The rest of the painting is multiple vertical rows of feathers with white (with yellow detailing) along the top and down the centre and light blue below and beside the rows of white. At the bottom left corner there is a hand written name.
