Eulogy for Pei Lim

File consists of a eulogy co-written by Wayson. File also includes a receipt from Print Express, for fax services, dated September 14, 1992. The top of the eulogy includes James Johnston as the addressee. The eulogy is signed off, "Paul Cheung, Wayson Choy, Richard Fung, Allan Li, Lloyd Wong ... and other friends from Gay Asians of Toronto".

File consists of a programme for a book and gallery exhibition featuring portraits of Japanese Canadians imprisoned during the Second World War.

"Globe and Mail" article

File consists of an article contributed to the Globe and Mail's Travel section by Cindy Low about the New Territories, or "the land between", the area between Hong Kong's core and the Chinese border 25 km to the north of Hong Kong. The article includes a handwritten note by Wayson.

"Golden Gate" film celebration at the Chinatown History Museum

File consists of a booklet from New York's Chinatown History Museum's hosting of the film "Golden Gate". It includes archival photographs from the museum, and discusses life in Chinatown in the 1950s, including a list of secondary sources to research for additional information.

File consists of examination papers used in Ontario. Published by The James Texts Limited, Belleville, Ontario. Focuses on arithmetic, composition, geography, grammar, history, literature, reading, spelling and writing, spanning 1934- 1949. Includes a price list from the publisher on the back cover.

"HomeComing '92: Where the Heart Is" : [publication]

File consists of a book of proceedings from HomeComing 1992, published by the National Association of Japanese Canadians in 1993. Includes sections entitled, "Where the Heart Is", "Aging Canadians and their Well-Being: A Life Span Perspective", and "Workshops in Japanese". The publication was edited by Randy Enomoto, who inscribed this copy to Wayson "To Wayson, One Who Is All Heart".

Immigration documents and Head Tax materials

File consists of photocopies of immigration documents (including travel documents for Chou Leong Wu) and a head tax certificate for Wong Sze. The file also includes a January 1995 workshop agenda for elderly Chinese in British Columbia, which discussed the Head Tax.
