Fonds includes material covering the opening of Osler’s building and residence in 1970, newspaper clippings detailing Robarts’ career, correspondence, Osler graduation programmes, and ephemera.
Series consists of material relating to the operation of the Osler School of Nursing (mainly prior to its absorption into Humber in 1973). The series is divided into three sub-series, which cover general correspondence, graduation exercises, and the opening of the new Osler building and residence in February 1970.
File consists of a photograph album from the opening of the new building and residence facility for the Osler School of Nursing. Many of the photographs feature Jackie Robarts and her cousin, then Premier of Ontario John Robarts, touring the facilities. The photographs also feature many unidentified students and faculty of the School. The photographs were originally housed in a photo album with organized with an inscription from Marion [Crane?]. The original album and inscription have been retained by the Archives.
Sub-series consists of material relating to the opening of a new building and residence facility for the Osler School at 5 Queenslea Avenue in Weston, Ontario. The building was officially opened on 12 February 1970 by the then Premier of Ontario John Robarts (who was also a cousin of Jackie Robarts’).
