Item is a photograph of the historical farmhouse being bulldozed. Much of the Humber College land was originally an historic working farm. Barns and dwelling space were a part of the land package that Humber acquired early in 1967. An 1830s farmhouse was considered a heritage site, but by 1979 it was in bad repair and could not affordably be re-purposed for Humber's use. The site was later used for Arboretum demonstration gardens.
Item is a photograph of the exterior winter photo of the Gordon Wragg Student Centre and Athletic Complex (building "A"). Note this photo was taken before signage was attached to the building.
Item is a photograph of the construction crew bulldozing the original farmhouse that sat near Humber College Blvd and Highway 27. Notice that the exterior walls of this 100 year old structure were built from field stone and hand cut timbers. Also notice the Humber logo over the old fireplace.
Item is a photograph of the official opening ceremony of the Gordon Wragg Student Centre with Humber professionals unveiling of the commemorative plaque
