This necklace given to me by my mother is not just a pretty piece of jewelry, but it also carries sentimental value. Since the day she gifted it to me, I haven't taken it off. I've worn it on vacations and road trips, to beaches and on hikes. Each time someone asks me about it, I take pride in saying it was from her. Wearing this necklace helps me feel connected to her no matter where I am. The day when I eventually pass it on to children of my own is the day the necklace is one step closer to being a cherished family heirloom.
