Silver tie clip. At one end, there is an oval with a silver rim surrounding a blue oval and within the blue oval is a crest with a shield and a dish with a handle on top. Attached to the oval is a continuous silver rod which starts at one side of the oval, extends away from the oval, curves to run parallel behind, curves again to run beside creating a semi-circle, and curves again to extend back to the oval which all creates a curved triangle shape.

SMITH & BOND CO. LIMITED (SIMBO) was a Canadian company based in Mississauga. SIMBO was first trademarked in 1938. The business was registered as a company which produces precious and semi-precious metals, and jewelry. Some of their products include gold, gold filled and sterling silver, rings, brooches, pendants, earrings, and clasps. The trademark was not renewed in 1983.
The Lakeshore Teacher’s College opened in 1959 by Ontario’s Ministry of Education. The school was located along Lakeshore Blvd beside the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital. The purpose of the teacher’s college was to fulfill the need of teachers in the expanding public school system in Ontario. Lakeshore Teacher’s College remained open until 1971 when it became affiliated with York University. Before its closure, Lakeshore Teacher’s college welcomed almost 900 students. In 1975, Humber College took over the building to create its Lakeshore Campus. The building of the former Lakeshore Teacher’s College is now known as Humber Lakeshore’s A Building.
