General note

This piece is a very popular accessory in Italy. Yellow gold has always been an important to pass on through generations. Gold is always accessories are given as gifts when a child is born.
The only references i was able to gather was from my grandmother before she passed. she wrote down a note of the origins and significance. She also passed down some information to my dad so he could remember for me. The ring was custome made from a. small jeweller in her hometown. This ring is very important to me but also my family because it shares a memory of my family but mostly my grandmother. It was costum made for a wedding gift from my grandmothers family in the 60s. it is made in italy from Italian resources which makes it much more special to me because it is a representation of my families origins and culture. It was incredible important to my grandmother she only wore t on special occasions so she had it saved for me when i got older. Every time i wear it it is like she is with me it is a reminder on my hand i am so lucky to have. I get to see photos of her when she was younger wearing it and it makes me feel like i am similiar to her in a way. I get to tell everyone that my grandmother saved something so special for me to keep in the family.
